Young African Leaders Programme - apply now !
The Young African Leaders Programme (YALP) of the EUI School of Transnational Governance (STG) provides a unique opportunity for aspiring leaders from Africa to further develop their policy work and professional skills amidst international experts and global leaders.
We kindly want to inform you that the School of Transnational Governance (STG) of the European University Institute (EUI) launched this year’s call for applications for its Young African Leaders Programme (YALP).
YALP is a fellowship and training scheme, supported by the European Commission (DG INTPA), which provides aspiring leaders from Africa with a unique opportunity to further develop their areas of specialisation, policy work and professional skills amidst the expertise of the EUI scholars community and external practitioners in public affairs and policy-making.
The three-month residential programme, full time and fully funded, is open to African nationals who are mid-career, high potential emerging leaders, policymakers, diplomats, and professionals, working in national and local authorities, regional, continental, international organisations and development partners, civil society organisations, academia, media and the private sector, in Africa.
The selected fellows have the unique opportunity to take part in seminars, trainings and skills development sessions, conferences, and study visits in Europe. Interaction with other fellows, policymakers and the academic community at the EUI makes YALP a highly enriching experience.
The Call for Applications closes on 22 of February at 15:00.
