Ngwasiri Pride Ndasi is originally from Cameroon. He is currently working as a lecturer at the University of Bamenda and the University of Douala in Cameroon where he is involved in administration, teaching and research. Ngwasiri Pride Ndasi holds a PhD in Industrial Chemistry and the Environment, two Masters degrees; in Industrial Chemistry and the Environment and in Food Process Engineering.
As the head of the research and cooperation department at the University of Bamenda, he is in constant contact with more than 20,000 students and more than 35,000 students in other universities in Cameroon. This provides a unique opportunity to promote and increase the visibility of mobility and ASAF
As a beneficiary of the Erasmus plus grant, Ngwasiri Pride Ndasi wishes to share the knowledge and skills acquired with his Cameroonian compatriots and present the different opportunities and programmes offered by mobility.

Asmaa from Egypt, is an Executive Administrative Staff at International Relations Office, Cairo University, and a master's student at Helwan University, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, as well as a member of the "ASAF Social Media Taskforce Group" and Co-ambasaador of Egypt.

She has a long background working in international relations which helped her to convey positive word-of-mouth about her country Egypt, as a popular study and tourist destination among European and African partners and their students.

On the other hand, being a part of IRO allows her to spread the office vision among Cairo university students and consult them to apply in different mobility programs. Furthermore, her position enabled her to help incoming students and staff from different backgrounds to integrate in Egypt. The aim at IRO is to spread the Egyptian culture and encourage the students to integrate into different backgrounds and customs. Being part in different mobilty porgramms in the context of Erasmus gave her great opportunities and helped her discover new cultures, make new friends, convey a positive word-of-mouth about her country, spread the culture and history of egypt, and motivate new friends to visit Egypt. This new adventure helped her alot to rediscover herself, broaden her knowledge, and accepti differences.

That’s why Asmaa strongly encourages others to experience this once-in-lifetime opportunity which will definitely change one positvely. As an ASAF Co-Ambassador of Egypt, her aim is to actively promote ASAF among potential members and motivate the current ones so that together we can help ASAF to fulfil its mission and vision in Africa. Moreover, Asmaa would like to help raise awareness of specific AU and EU mobility scholarship programs and assist incoming and outgoing students and staff before and during their mobility.

Margaret is from Nairobi Kenya and a graduate from Kenyatta University, she holds a degree in Economics and Statistics and a professional qualification in Finance. She believes in impacting community through education and skills development.
Her mobility experience opened her up to various methods of learning and teaching. Particularly, the ability to integrate current affairs and the education curriculum through case studies in class stood out for her and challenged her to apply her learning to solve real economic issues. Her interaction with students from various parts of Europe and China opened her up to the cultural differences that exists between various people groups in the world and gave her an international cultural exposure.
Her motivation as the Co-Ambassador of Kenya is to see that majority of Kenyan students get to know of the existence of the scholarships and mobility programme funded by the EU and AU. She also desires to see that the Kenyans ASAF members form a community that is able to be drivers of change in the nation and impact the various places where they are locating. Margaret believes she is a change maker and in her current capacity she believes she will influence positive change in the entire ASAF community.

Daniel is a scientist at the University of Douala in Cameroon. Hard-working and ambitious, he is always pushing his limits. This can-do attitude gave him the opportunity to successfully apply for the MoBreed Intra-Africa program for 12-month mobility in Nigeria.

This opportunity allowed him to refine his knowledge in several fields of expertise, to become at one with the world of research, and also to create strong connections with other scientists sharing the same passion as he. He has the desire to promote the opportunities that the European and African Union offers to all so that others like him can benefit. He has noticed that Nigeria is a great country with a youth that has great potential but suffers from a lack of information and motivation. As Co-Ambassador of ASAF in Nigeria, he aims to promote the opportunities offered by the European and African Union and to be an agent of support and preparation to facilitate the insertion of students into scholarship programs, to work for the safety, development, and acquisition of skills of the scholarship holders during their stay in their host country.

Saeed has prepared a Master of Human Rights and Development at Kampala International University (KIU), in Uganda. He is a Human Rights Activist. Currently he is the director of the disability department of the Ministry of Employment Social Affairs and Family of Somaliland. Due to his mobility experience, Saeed’s human rights career has been strongly improved, including his advocacy and campaign skills towards disability rights. Furthermore, it enabled him to become the first nominated director of the disability department office at the ministry of Employment, Social Affairs and Family of the Somaliland. Saeed has strong work experience which he wants to contribute to the ASAF Community.

Yeluma Ntali holds a master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management at Ardhi University. She is also a current student in Climate Change and Sustainable Development. Her mobility in Disaster Risk Management was essential for her career development but also for the management of Disasters.

She is motivated to promote the goals of ASAF and has a passion for human development through academic mobility. She has the zeal to foster mobility and quality education for all.

Juliet is a former beneficiary of the African Union's Mwalimu Nyerere Scholarship Scheme, an academic mobility programme that helped her obtain a Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology from Kampala University. She is a professional in Information Technology and Accounts and finalising a Master’s in Information and Technology.

Being a Co-Ambassador for ASAF was a long-awaited opportunity for her as it is a way of giving something back to her sponsors, Africa and her country in particular through the promotion of academic mobility scholarship programmes in our communities and higher education institutions.
