Franco-Namibian Centre hosts European studies fair

The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre organised a European studies fair in Windhoek on 29 June 2024, to promote European university programmes, scholarships, and application processes for Namibian students and professionals.

The European Studies Fair, organised by the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC), took place on 29 June 2024, in Windhoek, Namibia. This event aimed to promote European higher education opportunities to Namibian students and professionals interested in studying abroad. It featured representatives from various European universities and educational institutions who provided information on programmes, scholarships, and the application process for studying in Europe.

The fair included presentations and workshops covering topics such as the benefits of studying in Europe, the application procedures for various European universities, and available scholarships, including Erasmus+ and other EU-funded programs. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with university representatives, ask questions, and gather detailed information on courses and study options in fields like science, technology, humanities, and social sciences.
