Erasmus+ learning mobility goes beyond COVID-19 travel restrictions
The EU published a FAQ page with questions related to coronavirus raised by Erasmus+ participants
If your Erasmus+ student mobility has been affected by the current COVID-19 situation or you have questions whether you can plan one in the future - you can now have a look at the European Commission’s new FAQ page where they respond to the most common questions raised by Erasmus+ participants.
The FAQs provide helpful information for Erasmus+ participants regarding whether it is possible to postpone a planned mobility to a later date as well as financial aspects of Erasmus+ student mobilities. The last question on this page might be particularly interesting for ASAF members since it concerns non-EU participants.
As we can see, there are many questions that arise due to COVID-19 concerning Erasmus+ participation – but the EU provides lots of important answers. For ASAF members this shows us that their Erasmus+ learning mobility could go beyond the travel restrictions due to the coronavirus – there is an exception to the travel restrictions for third-country students starting their studies in the EU + Schengen associated countries, read more at EU’s FAQ.
