Last Saturday nine members of the ASAF strategic team (core group) came together to discuss important topics and issues concerning ASAF and the Forum’s future. Due to the participation in different events and many requests that reached us in the last weeks and months, the agenda for the meeting was accordingly full.

The topics discussed included:

• Future collaboration and cooperation with other organisations, institutions and initiatives that have the potential to increase ASAF’s visibility among other things
• General activation of the ASAF Online Community
• internal activities

As part of the ASAF Strategic Development 2020, a small group as part of the strategic team (core group) presented a first proposal for an ASAF working plan for the next 3 years on which they have been working diligently during the last weeks. All in all, the meeting was very fruitful and constructive.

Many major issues being affected by the global pandemic makes it difficult to take final decisions on upcoming activities now. However, the members of the strategic team (core group) came up with excellent and creative ideas to keep the ASAF community agile and active despite the challenges of the pandemic.
