ASAF Skills Development 2020 – Online Academy
The ASAF Online Academy Remote Work & Collaboration was one of the main online skill trainings offered to ASAF members between 24 June and 07 July 2020.
Remote Work & Collaboration is without doubt one of the biggest professional challenges caused by COVID-19. Consequently, an Online Academy covering this topic during 2 hours on 3 different dates was offered to interested ASAF members within the ASAF Skills Development Trainings 2020.
This online training on a big scale was available for more than 50 ASAF members and covered all important topics regarding remote work. Participants were provided with professional answers to basic but crucial questions such as How do I organise myself in my home office? How do I create a team feeling and keep us motivated as a team? or How do I ensure good communication? Afterwards, impulses were given on essential aspects of working remotely. Among other things, members were trained on how to define and establish common rules and rituals for remote work, good infrastructure and digital tools for remote teams, how to conduct effective remote meetings and the successful organisation of work in a decentralised team.
A thirty-minute Q&A session at the end completed the training: Participants had the opportunity to ask questions regarding remote work which were discussed by the other participants and/or directly answered by the trainer. Moreover, the evaluation survey filled in by the participants right after the Online Academy showed that a 100% of the participants found the training interesting and diversified and feel more competent after taking part.
In this sense, we would like to thank every ASAF member who took the opportunity by participating and confirmed that the Online Academy Remote Work & Collaboration was an instructive and useful skill training with regard to COVID-19 and its challenges!
