What happened?
ASAF signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EMA and WBAA at the NEO-ENFP-ICP Meeting Brussels 2025
The African Student and Alumni Forum (ASAF), the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), and the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the NEO-ENFP-ICP meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on 5 February 2025. This agreement aims at strengthening cooperation across different regions between the organisations under the umbrella of Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA).
The organisations were represented at the signing ceremony by the following Board Members:
- Prince Malouono, Board Member & Liaison for International Cooperation & Collaboration, African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF).
- Milan Stojanovic, Member of the Regional Board, Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA).
- Collins Santhanasamy, Board Member & Director, Partnership Development Unit, Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA).
The Memorandum of Understanding entails that ASAF will be invited to orientations along with EMA Country Representatives (CRs), European Union Delegations (EUDs), and other agencies. ASAF and EMA will also collaborate on joint projects that target research initiatives, capacity-building and mentorship activities.
This milestone reflects a joint effort to ground an enhanced framework for international cooperation among students and alumni of the Erasmus+ programmes, ensuring that the Erasmus+ community continues to thrive as an influential actor of young professionals and change-makers.
