ASAF successfully hosted a Regional Training on Project Management in Mauritius on 28 February 2025, bringing together members from the Eastern African Region. The training aimed to equip participants with essential project management skills, empowering them to drive impactful initiatives within their respective communities and organisations.

The interactive session covered key topics such as:

• Project planning and implementation
• Risk identification and mitigation
• Effective stakeholder communication
• Financial management in projects
• Team leadership and collaboration

The workshop provided participants with a hands-on learning experience, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices in project execution. The Logical Framework Approach (LFA) and Gantt Chart scheduling were explored in depth, ensuring participants gained an understanding of practical tools for project success.

This initiative reflects ASAF’s commitment to capacity building and professional development for its members across Africa. The training was not only an opportunity to enhance technical skills but also to strengthen regional collaboration among ASAF members.
