ASAF Elections 2024: Time to Cast Your Vote
The African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF) is holding its 2024 elections. Help shape the future by voting for your regional representative. You can only vote once per region. Votes cannot be changed once cast.
The African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF) is gearing up for its 2024 elections, and the voting period is set to open on Tuesday 5 November 2024. This is an opportunity for ASAF members to help shape the future of ASAF by electing representatives from across the five key regions of Africa. The voting window will open at 11:00 CET on Tuesday 5 November and close at 11:00 CET on Tuesday 12 November.
Below is the list of candidates from each region. As a reminder, you may only vote for one candidate per region, and once your vote is cast, it cannot be changed. We strongly encourage all ASAF members to participate in each region's vote.

Voting in these elections is anonymous and follows the ASAF Rules of Procedure (Article 3.4), ensuring a fair and transparent process. Each member will have the opportunity to cast five votes, one for a candidate from each region. The elections cover all five regions of Africa, as defined by the African Union’s membership criteria.
Key information on the election
- Voting opens: Tuesday 5 November 2024, 11:00 CET
- Voting closes: Tuesday 12 November 2024 11:00 CET
- Process: You can vote once in each region. Once your vote is submitted it cannot be altered.
- Results: After voting concludes, the results will be published and the new Board members will be announced to the ASAF community
