Ms Lina Mkoji represented ASAF in the OCEANS Annual Conference and AGM held in the Czech Republic during the summer. She was one of the panellists of the "Challenges and opportunities of international student mobility programmes" discussion amongst other EMA, ESN, gErasmus, and WBAA representatives. She shared her experience moving between Denmark, Slovenia, and Spain during her Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters studies. She also highlighted internal visa restrictions within Africa, and the lack of awareness among young people about mobility opportunities. She called for better dissemination of information on study and research opportunities abroad within the continent.

As a networking opportunity, Ms Mkoji took the chance to present ASAF (its vision, mission, and achievements so far) to the whole forum as part of her duty to ASAF. She also gladly encouraged several African OCEANS members to join ASAF.
