9th Africa Students and Youth Summit: outcome document online
After the 9th Africa Students and Youth Summit took place successfully on 2nd and 3rd of December 2020, the All-Africa Students Union, organiser of the summit, published the final outcome document “THE GLOBAL YOUTH COMPACT TO BUILD BACK BETTER POST-COVID-19”.
The summit, which was held virtually on 2nd and 3rd of December 2020 under the theme “Building Back Better in a Connected World, Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic and the Critical Role of Young People and Global Solidarity” reached every continent across the world and ASAF even had the honour to partner with the organiser, the All-Africa Students Union (AASU).
Now, the final summit outcome document entitled “THE GLOBAL YOUTH COMPACT TO BUILD BACK BETTER POST-COVID-19” has been published. “The Compact outlines inter-generational viewpoints, particularly that of young people from all over the world regarding the most inclusive and equitable roadmap to Build Back Better post-COVID-19. Young people from all over the world are energized to live up to the commitments enshrined in the Compact” (ASYS Team). You can read the full Compact here.
What’s more: ASAF has even received a partner certificate from Mr Peter Kwasi KODJIE, Secretary General of the All-Africa Students Union, which states his gratitude for partnering in the 9th Africa Students & Youth Summit. You can find the certificate here.
Again, a big thanks from ASAF’s side for this opportunity, we are very proud of having partnered with AASU in the 9th Africa Students and Youth Summit and are very much looking forward to future cooperations!
